This policy explains how SEResume.ai collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data for account management, AI processing, and billing.
1. Information we collect
We collect account identifiers, contact details, profile inputs, resume content, job-search preferences, submissions, workspace interactions, billing identifiers from Stripe, and support communications you send to us.
2. How we use information
We use personal data to operate the workspace, authenticate users, generate AI-assisted outputs, support billing, improve product reliability, prevent abuse, and communicate essential service updates.
3. Service providers and processors
SEResume.ai uses infrastructure and processing partners, including hosting providers, payment processors such as Stripe, and AI or search services needed to generate product features. These providers process data on our behalf subject to contractual and operational safeguards.
4. Research participation
If you opt in, anonymized career signals such as role targets, skills, salary ranges, and aggregate outcome data may be included in market research or reporting. We do not include your direct identifiers, contact details, or resume files in that aggregated research stream.
5. Retention
We retain account and workspace data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we remove your workspace data from active systems subject to limited residual retention required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, export, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. SEResume.ai supports account export and deletion requests directly within the product.
7. GDPR and CCPA disclosures
For users in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions, SEResume.ai acts as a controller for account and service data processed to deliver the platform. California residents may request disclosure, deletion, and information about categories of personal information collected, used, or disclosed, subject to applicable exceptions.
8. Security and contact
